Coming July 13: Update to Self-Parking
Beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, MGM National Harbor will introduce self-parking fees for non-members while continuing to offer free self-parking to all MGM Rewards members.
MGM Rewards is free to join and offers benefits including complimentary parking, exclusive discounts, special offers, entertainment perks, and more.

Self-Parking
MGM National Harbor features 5,000 parking spaces in our self-park garage. To access the garage, enter on either side of the resort from MGM National Avenue or Monument Avenue.

• Non-Members: Self-parking fee starting at $15 per day

Parking Garage Clearance
The maximum vehicle height in the MGM National Harbor self-park garage is 6'10".
Oversized vehicles must park in Lot B adjacent to the hotel entrance.
Oversized Vehicle Parking
No 18-wheelers permitted.
Contractors, hotel guests with reservations, theater workers, and special event staff may park once verified by management or security.
Valet Parking
Complimentary valet parking is available for Gold, Platinum, and NOIR MGM Rewards members.

Taxi and Ridesharing
- MGM National Harbor has coordinated with local Taxi companies to provide a convenient designated taxi stand located on Hotel Drive.
- National Harbor offers exciting water taxis connecting Alexandria’s historic waterfront and the National Mall. Click here for more information.
- MGM National Harbor has worked to provide convenient Ridesharing services with designated pick-up and drop-off areas, able to accommodate 50+ vehicles. Rideshare pick-up and drop-off is located at the Casino entrance.
- A First In, First Out policy will be enforced for all Rideshare drivers.
- The Resort will coordinate with Rideshare services to prepare for heavy activity dates to ensure more rides are quickly available during major events.
Public Transportation
MGM National Harbor has a Dedicated Public Transportation area located on the north side of resort, adjacent to the theater entrance. This dedicated bus lane is protected from congestion on Monument Road.
The Metro Bus from King Street (Yellow line) and Southern Avenue (Green line) provide the closest Metro Rail service to the resort.
